Ron and Karen's destiny was met online July 22nd 2014, after a brief talk on the phone, they would meet that night at an Italian Restaurant. 90 mins into the evening their life dreams manifested and after a year of courting they married July 30th 2015. Karen is from Newfoundland Canada and Ron from Glendale California. Both love the ocean and shared belief that true balance can be experienced when together AND on the water. Karen loved everything about the ocean and would spend hours watching sailboats come and go. When Karen was living in San Diego and participating in women's rowing teams she knew she'd be happiest living "ON" the water. Focused on Children and doing the next right thing she moved to Texas in 1998 finally picking up sailing lessons in Clear Lake in 2014. Ron had already been living on his sailboat, Papa Moku for 15yrs and living part-time in Texas/California for work for a year. Ron comes from a family of sailors and has sailed many thousands of nautical miles. His Mother - Anita and Father - Gunther had sailed and lived the South Pacific twice, once encountering and surviving to tell the story of surviving a cyclone! Ron's sister Ines and Her husband Kirk have logged more than 60,000 nautical miles.
Ron's dating profile tag line was "I am looking for the love of my life to love and sail off to the south pacific with ...." WOW!!! What a perfect match.
Now 2018, they have their Vessel and they're vigorously preparing the sailboat and themselves and putting everything in order for the the adventure of their lives. Documenting filming and photographing along the way.
This site will be the home for all the adventures and story telling and they hope YOU will enjoy the journey with them.
